I’m here at my Training Facility EVERY day of the year to answer your questions concerning problems or advice on any and everything about coondogs and coon hunting or email me at coondogtrainer@cs.com for more details. Our facility is going into it's 12th year of training coonhounds. We train young hounds to run and tree coon on their own. We are going to give you a little photo tour of our facility. Shaffer’s Training Facility offers complete training programs and now will offer direct questions and answer/advice to you on the phones All my hunting life (50 plus years) 1 have had hunting dogs (both squirrel and coon) and have had to train them by myself using trial and error because I couldn’t find anyone to give me tips and pointers on training dogs to tree and quit running trash.Shaffer’s was the FIRST complete Coonhound Training Facility in the United States, and we are into our 14th year of starting and training coonhounds. Our facility offers a safe haven of 100 acres for training coonhounds. We use 4 wheelers, surveillance cameras and state-of-the art training equipment, which has made our training programs run like a fine tuned engine.Yvonne and I are doing what we love to do: Training COONHOUNDS. I really enjoy talking about coonhounds, coon hunting and all aspects of training including the new training equipment (shock collars tracking devices) and hunting with a four-wheeler. I have over 50 years of experience hunting and training that can provide YOU with tips and training methods to help you with problems: when they arise. You must call in advance to reserve your place at the facility. A $50 deposit is needed to book your dog. The balance is due upon arrival along with a certificate of proof of all vaccinations.
